so I wake up this morning to what looks like 12 ft of snow and realize that Ed is in Atlanta and I have to deal with this whole mess. So, I decide to drink my coffee and think about it. All of a sudden at 6:30 am I hear the whirrrr of a snowblower and I look out and there is an angel in my driveway blowing the snow. My neighbor Karyn is looking out her window so I wave and try to motion to her how much I love her husband. So..I call her to tell her that. She said, that's nice but that's not him, he's sitting here drinking his coffee. She say's that's Matt our other neighbor. I go out on the porch, yell his name and THANKYOU! he waves. How nice is that....? Well, I go out to shovel my steps and look down the street and realize that Matt couldn't have done it cuz there were no tracks...I look the other way and see that the sidewalk from my house to Kevin's has been snowblowed (snowblown?)....My angel was my brother and I didn't even know it!! There is my story for the day! I'm very lucky to have great brother's. (and sister)!
Just so you know....I definitely would not snow blow your driveway, especially at 6:30 am. I lounge in bed until 7:30 am. We bought our xmas treet last night. The guy gave us a break on the tree...only cost $70.00 plus $20 for a real wreath. Since it's going to be 84 degrees today it's a small price to pay to try and get the real feel of xmas, without snow blowing my driveway!! Uncle Rob is geared up to put up the lights. Used car lot here we come. Still trying to get the electrician to come out and fix our circuits so that when the xmas lights our on the one side of the house is out. What's that you say...have U. Rob put less lights on? Hmmm. Of course, since he left the staple gun in the fence out back for six months, it has rusted beyond repair, he's going to be a little hindered. That and the fact that we are still missing about 40% of our fence since the hurricane. Maybe I will have lights on in the kitchen this year!! I'll keep you posted. Joey wants a $600 massage chair and a dog for xmas. I'm seriously considering the chair. Liz you'll be happy to hear that I researched Yorkies and they run from $1,900 to $4,200!! That and the vet bills, the chairs looking like a bargain. Hope everyone is well. Love to all. A. Julie
I only put "sister" down so you wouldn't cry. I know for a fact that Gary wouldn't snowblow my driveway either but he might pay Kevin to do it! I would like to start a "Let's get Joey a dog for Christmas" fund...I think a little boy should get a cute puppy underneath the Christmas tree(t).
I don't even want a papered one. Maltese are cute but too much maintenance. I really don't want a dog but the guilt is killing me. Didn't Gary make their dog "go away"? I like the dog from As Good As It Gets. It's a Brussels Griffon and from the Maltese family. Eileen, since you're starting the dog fund, doesn't your friend or can't your friend breed one and mail it to me?
Kyle, get your ass out of bed and shovel the sidewalk. Love you, A. Julie
Liz, I have great news for you..my friend is a breeder of Maltese and she has 2 males 8 wks old, and she will have 2 females and 1 male ready in 4 weeks. She will give you a break on the price if you are interested. 375 for the males and 400 for the females. Julie, that's a little cheaper than your designer dog... one more note, I think the person that stays home should shovel...jmho...sorry Liz.
In my own defense...I didn't sleep in...I was working on a final portfolio that I had to turn in at noon. I wasn't quite ready to leave and would have shoveled out my own car in time to get where I was going.

I'll buy you snow blower instead of a dog. With papers...instruction manual.
